(March 19, 2010):
Spring Break!!! So I picked up 9 hours today and 5 tomorrow in the computer labs (hence the blog update) to make up for the thirty dollar magical hamburgers at Disneyland. After walking about a bajillion miles you are so desperate for food you don't care that you won't be able to pay rent next month. Alright, I really did have a WONDERFUL time in Disneyland. It's probably one of the most depressing places to have to leave. You just walk out the gate, feeling your shoulders slump and a small tear trickles down your cheek as you think to yourself, "I will no longer be at the happiest place on earth." It's tough! This picture took 45 minutes to acquire so I figured it'd be the first that I post. We were just walking around and thought we'd visit Mickey's house. I took me about 15 minutes to realize that it was in fact the line to meet the most sought after Disneyland character.
This does remind me, like our honeymoon cruise 2 years ago, I felt like all of Utah State was on our vacation - I didn't mind as much this time since it wasn't my honeymoon. As you can see in the picture Stan and I were rockin' the USU shirts because we forgot to bring green shirts with us to celebrate St. Patty's. So, why not sport the Aggie blue? However, while touring the park I'm quite sure we heard well over half a dozen, "Go Aggies!" and "Yeah, Utah State!" Wow this post is already too long and I'm just scratching the surface of our vacation. We actually started out with camping close to the beach in Malibu. That place is crazy. Really all of Southern California is crazy. I felt like the biggest small-town hick freaking out on all of the 7 lane highways. Malibu was probably the most yuppy place that I have ever been. We felt like garbage in our, what we thought was decent Mazda3. We definitely were not up with the Jones' and their BMWs/Porches/Lexus and even an Astin Martin or two. Not even kidding. Every other car cost more than I could hope my future home will ever cost. We did go to church on Sunday and this is what most of the parking lot looked like. The people were friendly enough though.

... So I started this post about 5 weeks ago right after we got home from this trip... I went back to finish it shortly after and then I couldn't get the thingy-ma-bob to upload my pictures. So i'm still failing and will have to find another way to get them up! That's the most interesting part of this post anyway. So here is part one of my spring break above.. barely even a taste. Cross your fingers I get this thing figured out! I want to share what I did with my new camera!

School wraps up in less than 3 weeks. Can I get a huge sigh of relief? I'm really looking forward to this summer. I got offered an aide job at LHS (where I did my practicum) just for the month of May, because really, whose goal in life isn't to have 4 jobs at once? Apparently, it's mine.

I must also remind everyone how freaking glorious summers in Logan are. Probably one of my top ten favorite things. Seriously! I don't know if it's just that I have so many fun memories of summers, the beautiful sunshiney weather, or the fact that we're all happy it's not snowing -they're the best.

I must get back to crawling through these next 3 weeks. Hope to get my camera SD card all squared away for next time. Bye!

Aw... Looks like Disneyland was a blast! Sometimes vacations are crappy just because they end. Haha. By the end of the first day I'm depressed because I realize it won't last forever. Oh well. Miss you lots! We really need to get together soon!!

Super fun! We went to DisneyWorld over Christmas break and it really was sad to leave! We too paid billions of dollars for really tasty food, mostly it was tasty because we were so hungry. Wait til you get to take kids with you, then you'll be REALLY sad when you have to leave.
