QUESTION
Just because this is driving me NUTS, how do I get rid of the floating bullet points above our heads in the picture above? No one else has them and I'm making myself crazy trying to get rid of them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Happy finals week!

Running Score: Chelsey - 1 Computer - 264
I finally conquered the computer and got my pictures to load! Muahahaha! Just turns out that all the little card reader things were too dated for my sd card. Go figure. I actually have something that's too new for a piece of hardware. That never happens! So i enjoyed trying to figure out how to make collages in photoshop. (P.S. I'm working 8 hours straight today, hence my sudden acquisition of free time - ironically enough).
So the entire time I was going through all of these I was singing "It's a small world after all, it's a small aaaaaaaaaaafffffffterr alllllllllllllll, iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttt's aaaaaa sssssssssmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllll wwwwwwoooooooooooorrrrrlllllddddddddd aaaaaaafter all, it's a small SMALL WORLD!!!"
I now give that song permission to never be in my head again. I shall do my best to come up with another post, however finals weeks is coming soon and I worry I may not make it. Good luck everyone!

Searching the archives for a post...
Spring Break!!! So I picked up 9 hours today and 5 tomorrow in the computer labs (hence the blog update) to make up for the thirty dollar magical hamburgers at Disneyland. After walking about a bajillion miles you are so desperate for food you don't care that you won't be able to pay rent next month. Alright, I really did have a WONDERFUL time in Disneyland. It's probably one of the most depressing places to have to leave. You just walk out the gate, feeling your shoulders slump and a small tear trickles down your cheek as you think to yourself, "I will no longer be at the happiest place on earth." It's tough! This picture took 45 minutes to acquire so I figured it'd be the first that I post. We were just walking around and thought we'd visit Mickey's house. I took me about 15 minutes to realize that it was in fact the line to meet the most sought after Disneyland character.
This does remind me, like our honeymoon cruise 2 years ago, I felt like all of Utah State was on our vacation - I didn't mind as much this time since it wasn't my honeymoon. As you can see in the picture Stan and I were rockin' the USU shirts because we forgot to bring green shirts with us to celebrate St. Patty's. So, why not sport the Aggie blue? However, while touring the park I'm quite sure we heard well over half a dozen, "Go Aggies!" and "Yeah, Utah State!" Wow this post is already too long and I'm just scratching the surface of our vacation. We actually started out with camping close to the beach in Malibu. That place is crazy. Really all of Southern California is crazy. I felt like the biggest small-town hick freaking out on all of the 7 lane highways. Malibu was proba

... So I started this post about 5 weeks ago right after we got home from this trip... I went back to finish it shortly after and then I couldn't get the thingy-ma-bob to upload my pictures. So i'm still failing and will have to find another way to get them up! That's the most interesting part of this post anyway. So here is part one of my spring break above.. barely even a taste. Cross your fingers I get this thing figured out! I want to share what I did with my new camera!
School wraps up in less than 3 weeks. Can I get a huge sigh of relief? I'm

I must also remind everyone how freaking glorious summers in Logan are. Probably one of my top ten favorite things. Seriously! I don't know if it's just that I have so many fun memories of summers, the beautiful sunshiney weather, or the fact that we're all happy it's not snowing -they're the best.
I must get back to crawling through these next 3 weeks. Hope to get my camera SD card all squared away for next time. Bye!

Trying to update from a mac...
I'm still trying to figure this thing out! But I uploaded my photos to Stan's laptop to try out iphoto. woot! Here are just some pictures just cause I'm not feelin really wordy and articulate for an update. I can't get anything set up right to put labels right next to my pictures. Brief summary, Stan and I rushed the court, that's right we did. Then they cut down the net. Then hopefully this picture shows up at the bottom, but Stan and I celebrated 2 years on Monday! I can't even believe it. He's buys me a Gardenia every year. :) This makes number three. I'll update more when we get back from VACATION!!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

What to do what to do...
So I've been really sick all weekend with fever fun and ear infections in both ears and it's been super lame. I thought only little kids got those and that I should be all grown out of those at 22. Of course I thought the same thing about cystic acne and we all know how that's working out. :) It got me out of practicum today, which is my second day off of practicum (in only a month) as a result of sickness and I feel super dumb about it. I just don't want him to think I'm lying to get out of something. Ah well what can you do. I guess I could go and just not hear a word and figure out how to.. well enough of that. Happier rantings:
Spring Break!!!!! WOOOOO!! two more weeks right? We can do it!
I think Stan and I have finally solidified our Spring Break plans for this year. Sadly, it's a week later than usual and does not fall on our anniversary. We thought we'd be so set getting married over spring break! BUT it shall be epic none the less. We thought about doing the most impulsive trip of our lives. I have a cousin that lives in Italy and is only going to be there until May. So we thought, let's go! Free Room! - Only if we could find tickets for $700 or less. The best we could do was $850 which really adds up with two people so we're going to be slightly more responsible...put some money on our car and then... We're going to head down to So Cal and meet some friends right on the beach for a couple nights of camping. After that WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY LAND!

I'm uber excited because I've never been! And after a couple days of magical fun I think we'll hit up Universal Studios. I'll definitely have to loosen up on my tightwad-ness and enjoy the break. El Presidente is helpin us out with a nice tax return so we'll do our part by stimulating the Californian economy. Riiiiight. I hope every one has seen the California commercial with Schwarzenegger. That's what really sealed the deal. You should come along!
Hope everyone has a nice day!

Say WHAT?!
I was just reading my assigned homework reading and thought, how else can I procrastinate this slightly dull rather boring research paper? A blog update. Sadly, friends I'm still with blogger's block and don't know where to start. I thought I'd start off with what I'm trying to read, in an effort to rally some sympathy and support for my efforts. This is a random sample:
"...experimental studies proved that kind of information. More specifically, descriptive analyses may not reveal differences among social contingencies that maintain problem behavior, cannot detect extremely thin schedules of reinforcement and may incorrectly suggest contingent attention as the source of maintenance because attention is a commonly observed consequence for ...." blah blah blah
Now if you're still reading, I'm supposed to understand what that said. Or at least the significance of it. Not a clue. And that's about how these past four weeks of class have felt. "Excuse me, am I in the right class?" "Could you please speak English and not textbook ma'am?" "May I go now?"
I've started at Logan High this week and its absolutely terrifying. I've only been observing for the past two days and will start doing my own lessons next week. My first day when I walked in I almost turned around and walked right out. I'm not really scared of high school kids.. I was just walking through the halls and all of these horrible memories of high school returned. Then I notice that everyone around was taller than me and that I didn't look a day older than they do. How do I command respect from these people? I'm just being dramatic as I usually am on here.. I'm sure it'll all be fine its just the jitters that I'll have for the first few days.

My kindergartners were a hoot today. Apparently it was PJ day and when I got to the school they were all hiding under the table to surprise me. Don't worry after talk of spongebob and dragons we got back on track.
I was a little disappointed in LOST last night. I was promised ANSWERS! And all I got was more questions! And for some reason we had to watch commercials literally every 2 minutes for 2 hours just to find out more questions! So all I learned from it is that if a main character dies they aren't really dead. So don't you worry they'll be back one way or another. Unless the actor decides he wants more money. Then he might really be dead.

That's all I have for today. Back to the reading so I can go to the Aggie game tonight. :) Go Aggies!!!!

Who me? I have a blog?
Happy New Year everyone! It's crazy that its 2010! And make sure you remember that the National-whatever-grammar-people want you to say twenty ten. OR ELSE! I never know how to start these things out... Christmas Break comes to an end tomorrow. Sad day. But the break was great, and my life is slightly more exciting than these pictures would suggest.
Stan and I had a very relaxing Christmas in Oklahoma, where we ate some of the most delicious food and I'm pretty sure we watched every single bowl game that was on. Except for the Ohio State/Oregon game where I couldn't bring myself to cheer for either one of them. So we put in Star Trek :).
We were fortunate enough to get tickets to see the OKC Thunder play the Jazz. Don't get me started on the Jazz this year. They lost to the freaking Thunder by one point. They didn't even show up for the game until the last three minutes. Oh well, the Thunder deserved that win. Stan, my dad and me were the only ones there cheering for the Jazz. We got the strangest looks. This pic below is us at the game but flashes weren't allowed so the color turned out all weird. Yep looks like every other picture of us together.
Let's see what else, sadly I have three jobs. Granted two of them are only five hours a week each. My job teaching 4-5 year olds math is teaching me more than them. Turns out 4 and 5 year olds don't want to learn math. Go figure.
Even though I may be folding towels at a different location, I'm still tired of it. And the computer labs are treating me right nice.
Now this next picture is CRAZY. I had a measuring glass spontaneous combust!(OK there weren't really any flames). I was laying in bed about to go to sleep, when I heard something crash. We both ran downstairs to see who was breaking into our house to discover nothing. I later found this just to reveal my messy cupboard. Exciting stuff I know. I just thought it was weird that it broke on it's own...
Good luck to everyone who starts school tomorrow! And to those who don't, have a Happy January 11th!
